How it works
How It Works
Protect your graded cards with Slabcoat's premium ceramic coating service. Our process is simple, secure, and designed specifically for collectors who want their slabs looking their best.
Step 1: Package Your Slab
Carefully package your graded card slab to prevent movement during transit. We recommend using a sleeve for your slab, wrapped in bubble wrap and placed in a small box with sufficient protection. Ensure there is minimal movement.
Step 2: Send Your Slab
Mail your slab to:
Slabcoat
PO Box 204
Merrylands NSW 2160
Please include:
-
Your name
-
Return shipping address
-
Contact email
-
Order number and slab IDs
Step 3: Professional Preparation
Once received, your slab undergoes a thorough inspection and cleaning process. Dust, fingerprints, and surface contaminants are removed to ensure the coating bonds correctly to the slab surface.
Step 4: Slabcoat Application
We carefully apply our coating to the slab exterior. The coating creates a durable protective layer that enhances gloss, reduces fingerprint visibility, and helps keep your slab looking cleaner for longer.
Step 5: Curing & Quality Check
Each slab is allowed to cure properly before undergoing a final quality inspection. We ensure every slab meets our standards before it leaves our workshop. This process will take approximately 7 days.
Step 6: Return Shipping
Your slab is securely packaged and shipped back to you with tracking. You'll receive notification once your order has been dispatched.
Turnaround Time
Most orders are completed within 7-10 business days of receipt, excluding shipping times.
Important Notes
-
Slabcoat is applied to the slab, not the card itself.
-
We do not repair damaged (heavy scratches, cracks) or open graded slabs.
-
Existing scratches, cracks, or damage to the slab cannot be removed by the coating process. If selecting our polishing services, we will advise you if any scratches cannot be safely removed
-
Please ensure your return shipping details are accurate when placing your order.
